I have been appointed the exclusive agent to sell the operating business and assign the lease agreement for Riviera Maya Mexican Restaurant located at 20 Summer Street, Stamford, Connecticut.  The restaurant is situated on the corner of Summer and Main Streets, contains approximately 6,200 square feet of ground square floor space and 1,000 square feet of basement space.  The restaurant has been in operation for over two years, has a certificate of occupancy for approximately 250 seats, a liquor license and cabaret license.

The lease agreement commenced February 2010 for a team of ten years with two-five year renewal options. All furniture, fixtures, equipment and otherwise in included in the sale and assignment of the lease.  The restaurant could be operated “as is” or renovate to change the cuisine. The owners operate two other Mexican restaurants in the Westchester area and have decided to sell this location.

There is a metered, surface parking lot approximately 150 cars at the rear entrance of the restaurant.  Metered parking along Main, Summer, and Banks Street and several indoor parking garages.  Landmark Square and the Marriott Hotel are one and two city blocks away.  The majestic Theatre, Bow Tie Cinemas is adjacent to the rear entrance of Riviera Maya and is a six screen, luxury cinema.
